Food Shopping for Weight Watchers (WW)
Ok Sunday, I joined WW. I cannot share what I weigh yet in my journal. Thats between me and my highter power. LOL. Yesterday I did my WW food shopping, armed with my list and lots of time to read the packages. I must admit it was fun. I mostly bought all fat-free products. I have never done this before. I even bought fat free sour cream. Yogurt, 50 calorie fudgecicles, fat-free cheese, can you imagine. Where have I been. I really like the sprays for the frying pan, bought three new teflon coated frying pans Goodbye butter. My new DS friend Betty told me a wonderful story about how she did not become discouraged, when losing 5 lbs. She said she thought of every five pounds as five pounds of potatoes. I think that is great! She is a svelte size 8 and a lifetime WW member. One gorgeous gal too. With my cart loaded up. I walked to the vegetable market for all fresh vegetables. Did anyone know that carrotts have greens coming out from the tops, WOW. When did that happen? Beautiful. I huffed and puffed stopping every half-block walking home dragging my cart. I can't blame my lack of breath on my previous cigarette smoking only anymore. I am thrilled I stopped smoking. I am smoke-free and 55 lbs heavier but as of Sunday I am a "Weight Watcher." I am ready to give away my potatoes one pound at a time. Heee heee he. Luv, Ree

Hey Ree, I am proud of you. I always think about a five pound bag of sugar. Pick it up...it is heavy!! Wonderful, when gone. Popcorn is a wonderful snack!! Very filling along with a large glass of water..
ree, I haven\'t been to weight watchers but my friend goes and she lost about 60 pounds and has been off for 3 years. CONGRATULATIONS on buying healthy food.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of you. I haven\'t got there yet and I\'m very depressed and feel down on myself that I can\'t seem to motivate myself to go to WW. Been trying overeaters anonymous BUT not their food plan (Members food plan no white stuff, 3 meals nothing in between!!!!!) Hoping my retreat will help this weekend......Anyway good luck and GOD Bless...........Love, Sandy
