Food Banks

So, we finally got a listing of all the places to go for food here.  Unfortunately, we cant get any food from them.  Most of them said if you get more than $100 in food stamps you cannot get food from them (we get $212 now which feeds us for 2 weeks).  The rest are first come first serve and we were not there early enough to fight for food. Plus we have to fill out the forms and show proof of income, etc and still dont know if we can get anything.  Strange thing is where my husband works donates tons of food to the banks.  Wish they would donate to us! I am disabled, I often cant drive or even leave my house.  My spouse works and is paid $7.55 an hour and works about 34 hours a week.  From 8-2 or 3 Monday through Friday.   The rest of the time he sits in front of the tv.  He is 23 years old.  Acts like he is 80! The stress is taking a huge toll on me and I have much intestinal discomfort due to the stress.  I have no answers.  I have exhausted all forms of help I could look into.  I planted some vagies and they are mostly dead.  I need dirt to build up a bed for them (costs money).  Screw me everywhere I look!
