Folding an air bed.

Well my visit to my daughters' has been interesting. Everyday having been punctuated at each end by either the inflation, or deflation of a queen sized blow up mattress. Had I realized the extent to which this giant air bag would haunt me I would have punctured it on days ago.I really should have been more careful in it's selection but I was somewhat swayed by the irresistible urge to own the electrical pump that came with it. Whilst the twin size would have sufficed in terms of capacity it was devoid of said inflation device.Soooooo being the rather sad gadget geek that I am the queen sized bag of wind became mine. It's not so much the thing itself that is the problem but the space it requires. Every evening I clear the necessary land and inflate the object, sleep reasonably well, then deflate in the morning. This is not where the problem lies. My angst arises when the next night I have to clear a whole new batch of debris in order to stake my claim to my spot. Now this caused me to develop a cunning plan.........I would fold the matress prior to the application of my prized pump, thereby decreasing the area required. So I set about it.All I can say is that the beast took on a lifeĀ all it's own. Imagine if you will an inflatable hammock and all that could ensue in it's use. The thing bucks and twists like a rodeo bull, a very mad rodeo bull.........with a strategically placed hornet.Today I am going to purchase a nice compact twin size.
