FMO Letters of Love II
Great news Ladies....we are up to 12 letters now and climbing.
Once again my email is lillowyth@gmail.com
or if you post here shoot me a note so I can go collect it.
Each of you holds the key inside your hearts and souls to what the magic is that makes FMO work so well. I sat with my husband, Wayne to ask him if he could sense the growth that I experienced when I joined several years ago...he smiled and said "you haven't stopped growing" I asked him what he meant and in simple words he told me that I had become what it was I had gone looking for so many years ago.
I know I have not reached out to everyone, I do read several journals and I pray several times a day for each Mom after reading their journal. Sometimes I am at a loss for words. I do know that the basic "medicine" of FMO is the fact that "we know", what more can I say. We walk in each others shoes, we feel each others hearts, we know.
One of my close friends called me this afternoon to tell me that her daughter Amanda had passed away due to complications from cancer. She fought a hard battle and leaves behind a husband and 7 children. I never looked back, called work, told them i would be late (didn't care what they thought) put on my suit, jumped in the van and drove to her house. I held her tight while she cried and because of FMO and you loving women I had been very open with my friend about MayLyn and we had talked several times about her life, now it was my turn to listen to my friend. My heart broke for her and for me all over again. But I am ever so grateful for having the strength to help her like so many of you here have helped me.
I did leave with her the information to lead her here and will let you all know if she makes it. I felt all of you and MayLyn and my Family strong within me today and was so glad that I went to sit with her for awhile, although it did throw me way back to my first few days...a long hot shower when I get home and hopefully I will be okay.
In the meantime please put my friend Debbie and her family in your paryers...
Thank you for all you all do...
Walking beside you always...
Jacqueline PLH MayLyn's Momma
P.S. MayLyn you are my light and I am so grateful to have had you for my Daughter!!! Love Mom

I can imagine how being there and sharing your friend\'s grief took you back to your grief, raw and painful. But how very lucky she is to have you. I am SO sorry for her loss. I hope she makes it to DS. It is true, what brings us together is \"knowing\". That pretty much says it all for me. Just to know that so many wonderful women on FMO was actually feeling what I was feeling and knew how it felt, I just don\'t know what I would have done without that.

Thank you Jacqueline for all you do!!
What a gift you are offering your heart and strong arms to enfold your friend at this time. No words... showing up and being there. I am so very sorry for her loss as we know what a numbing blur those first days/weeks/months can feel like. You will become a tether for her, a hope, a promise that life will continue and that you will hold this sacred place for her to BE with her grief. Bless you for being there and for being here. I know our children guide us as do all those who have gone on before. Hope the hot shower felt soothing my friend. So much admiration and a hug too for you. Joanie
I am glad your friend had you to lean on. Prayers are offered up for her Mom and family. Hugs, Barbara
