Flu shot adventure

I was checking around yesterday for a place to get my annual flu shot. I saw that a local junior college was hosting the visiting nurses society for the flu shots. Better yet, my insurance was one that they would accept. All I had to do was fill out a form and show my card to them...no out of pocket cash involved. I thought "good deal!" since my pockets don't have that much cash to pull out lately. I pulled on to the campus and found a handicapped parking space right next to the student activity building. I thought that this is going to be a snap. I started following the signs across the quad. Hmm, it's not in the student activity building so I kept walking. It's not in the gym, keep walking...it's not in the business administration building...nor in the theater arts building...keep walking...no, on second thought sit a bit...then keep walking. I finally arrived at the building after walking completely across the campus. (I can see why most students are young. It would do in most old folks) I filled out the form and showed my card but I was huffing and puffing a bit sooo they had me sit some more and use my inhaler before they gve me my shot. Then I had to sit some more. They called someone in security and I was driven back to my car in security's golf cart. This flu shot turned out to be more of an adventure than I was looking for. I guess it just goes to show, nothing is as easy at it seems. Not lately anyway.Be well,Tom
