Flowers
I planted flowers today at my husband's grave. This was a first for me. I have just been so down lately. I'm really getting worried. I took off my wedding ring last night. I thought maybe if I didn't have to look at the ring on my finger that maybe this would help me from getting so sad & depressed. It certainly hasn't helped yet. But I planted some flowers & bawled like a baby. The funny thing was that my husband always thought buying flowers was a waste of money(he was an accountant) haha. But I think he'd appreciate me doing it. I got some perinials cause Tom did like a nice yard with flowers & he also had his vegetable garden. I have planted a few veggies. Now to see if anything grows. I'm hoping Tom can send some help from above. A gardener I am not. But then again maybe this will be just another new job title I will take on. Plumber, grass cutter, Ms Fixit. Etc. each task I now do that my husband used to do just makes me remember things & how Tom would have done it & then I end up crying. When does it get better? Will it ever get better?

I wish I knew when things will turn around and I can move in the right direction. I have also taken on all the chores my husband did and although it does keep me busy, but at the same time it makes me sad because I picture my husband doing these things.....Oh well, at least we are trying.
