flophouse report
The flophouse used to be next door---now all those bums have moved into building where I live.
last night the 65 year old loud lowlife downstairs jamming till 2 in morning with, probably, ex-member of group home from upstairs.
It is almost funny, in a 3 stooges/cheech and chong sort of manner, that two amateur musicians think its perfectly normal to play loud music till 2 in morning---with me hearing it all the way to living room where I've had to retreat, cause they located under my bedroom. It's about 55 paces from my living room mattress to my bedroom boxspring, and I can still hear the noise from downstairs.
A few days ago I was outside the building with the drunken indian that is another tenant; he showing me his assault rifle; I instinctively backed up when he showed me the loaded clip in it. he's drinking from a bottle in a paper bag, on disability---and he going off for a weekend to make a couple thousand dollars at a powwow, selling bear claws and bear paws he made into trinkets.
He did at least tell me that one of the homeless in group home upstairs was caught with a mini-meth lab in his back pack; the drunken indian was amazed that cops in haz mat suits didn't show up to condemn where we live.
It has finally dawned on me that I can now move...anywhere, to some other flophouse, and not be treated any worse than how I'm treated here. The only thing that bothers me are the 4 homeless cats I feed that will probably starve to death when I do move.

well dummy catch the homeless cats and take them with you to new apt....
send me 140 dollars and I can also get them neutered, dope.
What a mess! You are right though. If you do move it might not be much better but prolly no worse.
Could you maybe move the homeless kitties one at a time and get them used to eating in the new location so they would stick around?
TroJanThunder,
I\'m hoping to move at least ten miles away---with me unable to trap the poor cats to even get them neutered. I\'m amazed they made it through last year\'s snow.
I hate the downstairs idiot for forcing me to abandon the cats and move---but he\'s slowly turning his apartment into a free crackhouse, and the strangers he gets wasted with will eventually want to punch me for complaining about the noise.
The landlord is gonna be in for a big shock, when usually pushover me, who shovels the building\'s sidewalk in winter and sometimes pays 2 months of rent at a time, skips out when the best opportunity arises.
I know you feel badly about the cats, but getting out of Dodge seems more important ATM. Good luck and LMK how it goes.
