Floating along but having a bumpy ride
Well.. I never considered myself as a floater. More as a GO GETTER and a fighter, as a loyal friend and a passionate individual. My partner is quite the opposite, a real floater, very laid back, come and go and doesn't really push things whereas I do. I find that worrisome that I might end up like that... or that he'll hold me back!! I like to be a go getter and I feel like I need more motivated individuals surrounding me in my life!! I feel like the core part of me that goes and get's.. I guess the motivated side.. is suffocating a bit! And I think that's a lot to do with not having many friends or socialising much. I suppose taht's why I'm on here.. trying to find that I've recently put in some more things in life that I hope to fill my time well and then this means - I hope to fill my mental space with things other than F.OO.D! I'm floating a little because I'm procrastinating - which I understand is human - but I've been a bit too apathetic lately and too restricted by time to the point that I waste it while i'm too conscious of it if that makes sense! It does to me!! Ah well. Anyway-I'm feeling like I am actually a little more able to stick to a diet after the last week, despite my relapse into junk on the weekend. I think I can do it again and I hope to God taht I can develop some better habits with success. Real success.I've done 25min of exercise this morning which I'm happy about and eaten a salad and tempe for lunch which is great. I have something due tommorrow which I haven't touched yet though and I have only an hour before work so I'm feeling distracted by knowing I've got to go to work... and then that i've got to study all night after as i've left it so last minute! SIgh. Enough of worrying right. I'm hoping that by bringing more things that I personally enjoy into my life I will get out of this pit of apathy or depression or whatever it is. I think the SAMe might start to be working and that's one thing that might hlpe me at least biologically. I'm going to try out a dance class next term (ballet and hip hop) and take on another day of work (which often leaves me tired and exhausted but also emotionally more energized too) because i'm forced to raise my energy levels to be a good teacher.I'm going back to tatting classes and may try out a bead class in the near future which I know I used to really enjoy. I'm using the wii fit to monitor my progress for diet and fitness and I've got a friend who I'm emailing my journey of weight gain/loss to in order to be accountable. All in all I want to take back the reigns of my life - and give them back to God too as I attempt this! Over and out for now.. me.
