Floaties

Ok so today wasn't the best day on record, but i guess it wasn't exactly the worst either. I went and saw my orthopedic surgeon today and he drained about 60 cc of fluid off my knee then injected my knee with a steroid in hopes to control the swelling and fluid build up. The fluid was sent to the lab for Gram stain and culture especially since the fluid had little white floaties in it and it's suppose to be crystal clear. Were all hoping a stray infection hasn't set up house in my knee. At least we know it's not in the blood stream as i am not showing any signs of any infections in my blood. However only the lab tests are going to tell us what's really going on. In the mean time the doctor hasn't released me to go back to work full time, but I am allowed to fill in as a unit secretary. Hopefully I can get my 80 hours in 2 weeks sitting mostly on my back side. Anyway just wanted to let you all know how the doctors appointment went.
