FIX THE ISSUE OF BROTHER PRINTER OFFLINE ON WINDOWS 10

The message shows offline in the section of Drivers and Printers. THE STEPS TO FOLLOW ARE:

STEP 1: ALWAYS CHECK THE PRINTER CONNECTION

When you are about to print a document and problems occur then restart your brother printer by switching it off and then switching it on. After this, wait for a few seconds as the printer needs to be fully ready to print.

Sometimes with the hurry, we always forget to look out for the connection. In such cases, always check out the connection of the printer. While checking, if you found the printer is connected to VSB cable then be sure that the cable is connected properly and look out for the USB port if it functions or not.

If in case, you found that printer is connected through the wired networks then make sure that the Ethernet port is connected properly to the printer. Check the router if it’s working or not. Also, look if the network signal on the Brother printer is displayed or not. Sometimes, you happen to connect the Brother Printer to a wireless network, if this happens then make sure your Wi-Fi is connected to the PC network.

STEP 2: CHECK THE PRINTER STATUS:

At first switch off the printer and then switch on again, after that hit the Windows + I keys accordingly. After doing this, click on the Devices then right click on the icon that shows a green tick mark. The next thing is to click on to See what’s printing and if you see a grey colored icon without any green tick mark then right click on it and choose Set as Default Printer. Lastly, remove the ticks that have an option of Pause Printing and uses printer offline. 

STEP 3:  LOOK OUT FOR PRINT SPOOLER SERVICE:

In this, you have to press Windows +R keys, and then enter services.msc in the search box and then select on OK. After that, locate the Print Spooler item from the list. The next thing you do is check if it’s running or not. Make a right click on the Print Spooler service and then click on the Start button if you find it troublesome while looking for the status. Then right-click on print spooler and then restart it.

STEP 4: KEEP THE PRINTER DRIVER UPDATE

In this process click on to the Windows +I key. Mark the selection on Devices, then so to the Devices and Printers. After that, right click on Brother Printer. Make sure to click remove the device. After that, select OK in the permission dialogue box.
