Five hours on the go.......
Well, went on the treadmill for 20 mins, then spent 4 hours trudging around with my gorgeous niece who feels that nothing is too much trouble. We wnt shopping. We got the groceries. We had lunch. We then dashed into my office at work, grabbed a load of files so that I could feel useful to my colleagues at work. I feel that I have made great strides forward. I got a little anxious in the crowded supermarket. My niece was looking out for me but not so close as to cloister me. Bless her. She has far more insight than I could possibly give her credit for. We smelled all the lovely smelliest on the perfume counters, looked at all the electricals, scorned the bath sheets that were the size of tea cloths.....
We moaned at the price of meat (a disgrace) and the fact that I was going to substitute quorn for red meat. Forgive me, all you lovely Americans out there but it's got to be done.
I feel well. I feel positive. I still have the stabbing pains but I can deal with that. I take my meds. I listen to my relaxation CD. After 5 hours on the go, I'm having a shower, getting into my PJs and having a chill out evening.
Hope you've all had just as good a day.
God bless,
Alli
