Fitbit review

Well, after 1 day of using this, it is pretty cool!  I did 12704 steps yesterday.  It is about 1 inch wide.  You can put it in a pocket, in your purse, clip on a belt.  You can clip it on your bra, which is very comfortable!  It is very sensitive and accurate!  I am impressed!  It is interactive, so the more active you are, the more calories you get!  It costs $100 and the website is free for the basics.  i signed up for the $50/year membership and I get personal trainer and reports, etc.  It gives you feedback, goals,  how to lose weight, eat better, etc.  Analyzes what you are doing.  Even with doing almost 45 minutes of Wii Walk It Out, I am at 1200 calories a day max!  I was 19 hours 22 minutes sedentary yesterday, 1 hour 29 minutes lightly active, 2 hours 16 minutes fairly active, 20 minutes very active.  It also comes with a wrist band to wear it for sleep.  I got 8 hrs of sleep last night and it was good sleep.  (measures you waking up or moving around.)  So that was interesting for me.  Today, I have it clipped on my bra between my boobs.    don't even know it is there.  I am at 83rd percentile for my age group for steps/mileage.  I have goals I have to do, like 10 flights of stairs.  (It knows stairs!)  I did 25 flights of stairs.  It also gives you little messages, like "Get moving Yvette" when it has been sedentary for a while.  Doesn't "talk."  Just message on the screen. I sit at my computer and the data wirelessly uploads to the computer.
I am down to 162 lbs today!  Woo hoo!  4 more lbs to get out of the Obese category of BMI!  Can't wait to kiss the 160's goodbye!  I am going to go to the Y this afternoon.
My purple crocuses are now blooming and it is going to be almost 70 degrees today!  YAY!!!!!    The birds are all chirping.  And I am so excited about the clocks going forward and having it get dark later this weekend!  My sinuses are stuffed and I have had off and on headaches but I will deal with it!  yay Spring!  The dogs are driving me crazy as they want to be outside and keep bugging me to take them out!  A few more degrees up and I am going to open some windows!  It even smells good outside.
Funny thing:  I went to the vet to get Kona's prescription dog food.  Opened bag, fed puppies this AM.  Paul left the laundry room door open.  I hear "crunch, crunch, rip."  I get up, Remmy's big head is in the 50 lb bag of dog food chomping down food!  Ugh!  Hopefully he did not eat much and will not get sick.  That dog can eat!  He even gets in trash cans and eats paper!
