Fissuring
The long awaited day for running electricity to both barns has been confirmed. Tomorrow morning the trenching and electrical crews will be arriving with the goal of having this phase of the job complete Friday afternoon. Exciting days with hopes of a happy ending. Just hoping. . .
Yesterday evening K, the church friend who is watching the river region house in my absence sent a startling reminder of how easily best laid plans can go arwy. The remains of the Breach of Contract pile attracted the official attention of the city fire department back May. Their demands fell through the cracks of my long-distance property management and yesterday's reminder was a notice that they would put a lein on the house if I didn't give them their due. The specifics of the due are still as clear as bureaucratic ass-coverage, but. . . Ouch. Investigation in progress. I'm still waffling between treating the reminder of bygone construction disasters as a nudge to watch my expectations, a cosmic injustice or just a Celestial poke joke. I reckon the three arenae mutually exclusive.
Best beloved sis's visit is already half over. !!!No puede ser!!! I wonder if I can lock her in one of the barns next week instead of driving her to the airport for the return flight. Maybe deflate a tire the night before? Beehaving now. . .

just dropping by with. a hug (((arfie)))
oh my , that river region project is tickling from afar i see. Yup, i like the deflate the tire fantasy. visits never last long enough with loved ones do they? triple hugs as the process of evolution continues my friend.
The breach of contract was only a little sliver of the river region project. Me and the river region project go all the way back to when Mark Twain introduced me to Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. Then you have all those pesky rules and regulations that accompany real estate ownership. That be a long list of gory details arguing in favor of renting.
Even without the hydroponics lab and rooftop garden, I'm still grateful to have my river region base camp.
Best beloved sis loved the tire deflation fantasy, too.
;) <3
