Fissure Day

Thoughts and energies are all over the map today, times 5. Do I need a reality check for wondering if that not every day needs a focus? I make far more discoveries on the days I *just* go with whatever life sends down the proverbial tunnel. If that blinding light at the end of the tunnel happens to be a train, I'll dodge it when it gets here.

I'm with the "not every day needs a focus" school of thought, arfie. In my case that might be self serving, since I just can't focus every day anyway. But the first support group I ever was in was an Alanon support group and they encouraged me to "just" go with whatever life sends, as you put it, which helped me because I would panic at the loss of control. You dodge well, so if that light at the end of the tunnel does turn out to be a train, you've got good skills at letting it pass with you unharmed. And then there's a chance it's light marking the exit out of this tunnel to daylight.... Praying for the latter today, my friend.

Yea, learning that not every day needs a focus was a big part of getting the proverbial stick out of my ass. Those splinters still resurface on occasion, sometimes out of necessity. This shit storm season we've been experiencing since June is just cause, buttttaaaaa. . .

Balance in all things. Letting go and letting God, acronym and all.

So far so good on the fissurey day. The tones and tempos are quietly integrating each to their own tune. I can work with that.

Support for the tones and tempos integrating through the day.
