Fish Galore
When I walked up to get the paper this morning, I saw hundreds of little fish in the drainage swales along the road. If we humans would just leave things alone, how Nature keeps its balance and renews itself! There will be no mosquitoes breeding in that water. I reread my journal entry from yesterday. I was really angry, wasn't I? Well, so be it, I had good reason. They say righteous anger is the toughest to cope with, you can't just talk yourself out of it. We all have a lot of righteous anger to deal with on ds. I'm enjoying the clear air today. It seems really obvious that I have asthma, I have all the symptoms of it. But the doctors always said no, I don't have it. Cynical me, I'm thinking maybe I don't have enough cash to have asthma. If you don't diagnose a chronic illness, you are not legally obligated to treat it, scot free and off the hook. Chronic illnesses are not a money maker for a doctor unless the patient has deep pockets. So when I get those coughing fits and chest pains on going outside on misty mornings, I'll just assume it's evil spirits or something, not asthma. Don't worry, I'm not angry today, just disappointed in things as usual.

I would say Richie that you are a perceptive and wise person. Your comments about chronic illness are precisely what I was discussing with my dentist today. Think you need to start warding off those evil spirits as the mornings are getting cooler ;-)
You are so right about the fish and mosquitos, a neighbour here complained once about mosquitos, horrible.... neighbours from hell.... but we had fish in our swimming pool... so the council man could plainly see they were not breeding in our place. I think the ducks eat them too, as I have seen baby ducks swimming around and around in the evenings in the unused pool. Ducklings are so cute, they are like corks, they just float so effortlessly.
