First words - 6 1/2 months
I KNEW it would be da da!
Ava's first outloud laugh and screech/laugh and most of her mumbling is done on her changing table. Not sure why, but she LOVES to get her diaper changed. She could be crying one minute but as soon as I put her on that table, she starts babbling away and smiling. It's so cute! Anyway, two nights ago we were getting ready for bed. She was on her changing table and the words came out like a whisper "da da." And I was like WHAT and repeated it outloud to her "da da?" And she said it again, but in a whisper. So that went on for like 10 minutes. She kept repeating it over and over. Too bad da da was at the grocery store and missed it. But he heard it last night. So now in the last two days when she mumbles, it sounds more like she's trying to put words together. Now we really have to start watching what we say in front of her. Pretty soon, she'll be repeating everything. I can't believe this is happening already! She's only 6 1/2 months old!

Matthew loves his changing table too!! Lol. I have no clue why either! He will just lay there after his diaper is done listening to me talk to him and then when I pick him up he cries!! Silly babies!!
