First u/s ...5w2d DD of August 13th!
I had my first ultrasound this afternoon at 12:45PM and then 1:30PM with the fertility specialist. I met with the ultrasound tech, Margaret (I've had her for all my ultrasounds) and she showed me that there was indeed a gestational sac and the yolk sac! It measured to be 5w2d, which was EXACTLY what I should be, and a due date of August 13th! No heartbeat yet, but that is normal, and was expected because it is still very early. I have another ultrasound scheduled for Monday, Dec 23rd at 9:00AM to hopefully see the heartbeat! =)
I'm excited everything is where it should be ... I'll definitely be more relieved (and start to get more excited) once we can see a heartbeat!
Question - at what point did your DH go with you to your ultrasound appointment? He said he could come with me on Monday's appointment, he would just get into work late. I was just curious at what point your DH came with you?!

Congrats, great news. DH has always come to all the u/s with me with my IVF treatment. I\'d bring him with you to the next one if he can.
DH has always gone with me to ultrasound appointments once I was pregnant. I agree, bring him to the next one.
Congrats on your first u/s! An my Dh always has went with me.
The next one will be important for DH to be at because he will get to experience seeing the HB for the first time.
yay great news my dh came to my first ultrasound but I was also 7 weeks then so I was far enough along to see everything... I cant wait for an update
