first time posting
I've had my fifth shot feel horrible , from what I'm reading it could get worse !numbers have dropped significantly, otherwise I was stopping . Everytime I think it can't get worse, you know it does.Each shot different side effect,I'm not a quitter but damn This is kicking my butt!

I see that you are on treatment for hepatitis c, no bed of roses, but doable with the help of some friends, in the same situation.
You have come to the right place.

I was diagnosed after my hubby was diagnosed with hep c in 2000, so both our daughter and I were tested, Thank God she was negative, but I was positive.
So first my hubby did his 48 weeks of treatment, being genotype 1a, and cleared the virus.
I did treatment when it was approved by the FDA, same genotype so same 48 weeks of treatment, and also cleared the virus.
We are both cleared to this day.
So there is hope out there for us with the virus of hepatitis c.
I am here for you, if you need to talk, advice, vent or just share some of your good and bad days.

i\'m on week 18. I have no energy. It\'s tough, being on tx, harder for others. This site has helped give me the strenght to keep going, and to take my mind off sides.
these meds are heavy duty.
