First thought wrong !

Being an addict and realizing this disease of alcohol and addiction has nothing to do with drugs or alcohol. It has to do with the way I think !  For example, one of my children texts me and says “daddy I love you”, my first thought is “ok, did she just wreck the car, does she need money, is she ok”!!  See, I can’t just think first - maybe she does love me !?!?!  Ugh
