First Month has passed
Went to see my husband today with my father in law. It was a good visit. His dad was wonderful in keeping his spirits up, even made him laugh a few times. I told him that when he get's out, I'm going to spoil him rotten.....Hubby was like-Okay in a not quite certain what to make of that. sort of way. It was cute. Kept telling him that I can't wait until he get's out, and he said that when he does, he's gonna spend as much time outside as possible and run around the house a few times. Take a break for a couple of weeks-Dad's already planning to spend an entire week with him, no matter what.
Greg has spent 32 days in jail-for me, that time has flown by. But, for him, it drags on and on. But hey, 1 month down, 19 to go, and then parole eligible. He's chompin at the bit to get transferred to a state facility. I have mixed emotions about that.
I have to get crackin-my violin lesson last week really sucked, and I have much practicing to do. My car is on the fritz as well-bad cylinder head-gotta search for a new used car. Saw a 09 Honda Fit for sale for under 8k-gonna check it out, and see if the bank will finance me. I'm gonna have mechanic examine it if I test drive. Hours will increase starting next week, which is good, and I think I will see if I can get another 5 hours a week out of them-which would get me up to 22 hours in one job-with teaching income, I should be able to make the car payments.
My husband got the card, letter, and treats for his birthday which is good. His dad put money in the commissary, and he's got a punk ass kid for a cell mate-drug charges. Hubby had to put him in his place, with the guard's blessing.
