First Father's Day without John

I had been feeling really bad on Thursday and Friday, blood pressure was 141/109 normally mine is low.  Got scared when I got a headache and couldn't see out my eye, I went to the Dr. he thinks it is just stress.  My boss seems to think reality finally sunk in and he said the good news is when you hit rock bottom there is only one place to go and that is up.  Well I took half a day off Friday and went to Lafayette with my daughter so I could go spend the weekend with my son and daughter-in-law.  They took me eat out on Friday still had the headache.  Woke up Saturday morning feeling better, went shopping all day.  Then they took me to the Hibachi Grill and it was awesome.  John would have loved it and I know he was there since our Chef kept dropping everything we laughed till we were almost crying it was so funny.  Then my kids said Mom we have one more surprise for you, they took me to the Daiquiri Shop and played shuffle board.  We had a  blast something I have never done before much less go to a bar.  Sunday was spend at my son's in-laws around the pool playing volleyball in the pool with the kids.  I cried a tear or two knowing how much he would have loved to have been there.   When it was time to leave I saw his truck it had been behind the tree the whole time I just hadn't noticed it.  Great way to end a beautiful day.  You see my son, Chad his in-laws have a farm and they have offered to keep John's truck on the farm so whenever Chad wants he can use it.  So everyone is talking about Mr. John's truck how it goes here and it goes there and they bring their grandkids to the back of the farm in it.  So to all Father's and Grandfathers I hope ya'll all had as Great of a Day as I did, but I sure do Miss my Dad and John! My kids and extended family in laws sure did make sure me and Kristy weren't alone for our First Father's Day without John.  Here's to you John, I know you had a Great Father's Day as  this is your First Father's Day with your first born son, Joshua.  Until we meet again, I will always Love you!  Andree'
