First entry!!!

Hello!

Ok so this is my first entry so I guess I should say a little about myself, I'm 25 from Kent, married to my lovely wife Abbie, working for a travel company on the phones. I have depression and Perthes disease. The Perthes disease has left me with chronic pain after steroid injections 5 years ago and it's been pretty much down hill in the last 3 months and the doctors do not have any idea as to why.

Which really really sucks.

After working really hard after the steroid injections 5 years ago to get out of the wheelchair, get off the crutches and even more off a walking stick, I'm now regressing majorly and in the last few months have gone back to being on a walking stick, which at 25 is horrible. Throw in the depression and it's all fun and games.

After months of arguing with doctors about being signed off for the depression saying that it's perhaps the worst idea ever I let them sign me off for 2 weeks for the pain in my hips (begrudgingly).  I didn't overly want to but apparently if you keep being sick and crying from the pain at your desk it do any look professional (news to me!) and on Monday in due to go back to work.

Only thing is I'm really scared. The pain isn't any better with the stupid amount of new pills I'm on and I'm so worried they will just send me back home and it's making my depression worse sitting at home. It makes me feel suicidal and I really can't cope with that for another 2 weeks.

So yeah, I was on this website years ago and thought it really helped then when I was struggling with a eating disorder and I was hoping it could help with the chronic pain now.
