Fireworks

On Saturday we celebrated Father's day early, since I had to work and Alonso had a rehearsal, with a bbq.   He did some salmon, I did some hamburguers, hot dogs, mac and cheese.  We even had watermelons and corn.  Even N, Alonso daughter came and we all had a nice time among friends and family.  Her boyfriend exclaimed:  "I love you" when he tasted my macandcheese.   Around 9 we went to the shore to see the fireworks which were very nice.  It was a nice ending to a great day.
Yesterday I finally went to get my birth certificate to be able to take my passport, otherwise I won't be able to go to France at the end of August.   I am happy that they gave it to me right there so on Friday I can go and apply for my passport.  As it has become our habit we went biking in the afternoon around the midland beach, it was the perfect day for it also.  It is really nice to take a nice bike ride, S.I. is very bicycle friendly!  Alonso took a picture of me, and my hair was very curly and with the wind it looks like I have a little fro.  I send the pic to my brother and he said I look like a completly different woman.  I look at the picture and I have to admit I do.  Like I said my hair is all messy, but I think I look confident. 
Tonight is another rehearsal for Alonso and on Friday he will be recording, and i am very happy for him.  The world needs more jazz!
