finished the lobster ravioli//medical review of why cholesterol is higher//talking to jn and rn

Should do a year in review for b-days.  its considered arrogant to use a b-day of one's own as celebration in many cultures (plus, people used to not quite know when they were born anyway.  totally different than usa, where everything is numbers).   its supposed to be celebration of one's saint's day.  have to take a look at that and see what other days i should be celebrating.  lol.  i'm good for alllll reasons to celebrate.  lol.

so the doctor wants to know what i am doing differently that my cholesterol went UP 8 points.   he's serious.  so i figure.  i bought a bunch of tasty cake.  i check out my blood work and there is no sugar thing done on there.  maybe that is it.  so i put the rest of the boxes in the freezer.  my blood pressure was excellent for a change.  yay me.  even with all the barbeques lately (could be that upping cholesterol?)   i have been getting dizzy spells.  i upped to one regular aspirin from the smaller dosage and started taking it mid-day not night to help with the neck pain from the car accident.  have come to the realization the neck pain is permanent?

the doctor claims if i would seriously diet and get back to my real weight of 13 years ago.  lol.  i wouldn't need any meds at all (and no one should.  he's 100% against fat people and fat in general.  i agree with him actually, but easier said than done once you gain any weight, never knew that before).  his wife is his nurse and reminds me AGAIN that aspirin therapy is dangerous.  (having numb spots is also dangerous and i get that without the aspirin).  i need to swim and i also need a hotter climate just to SEE properly.  everything looks better in summer here and further south its summer most of the year.  can't recall if southern spain was as well, it should be, its near africa.  i'll journal separate on that because its another drama.  i don't have the energy for drama anymore (my cousin mary ended up being as evil as the nanny had been, with rebecca.  really shocked on that - hitty kids become hitty adults?  and not caught for 3 years - even longer with the nanny - wth!  you are both assholes, not that cursing at someone DOES anything).  uncle mark says it shouldn't surprise me, but he's not a fan of that end of the family.  its his ex-wife's but you can never tell exactly why a person hates another person, it can be jealousy or sour grapes, it can be anything.  why is she like that?

also upped my dose of focus factor to 3 times per week.  two pills each time.  i used to take it at the most once per week.  huge difference and it helps a LOT.  just like potassium does.  also added magnesium, but haven't figured out when i should take it.  potassium is a day vitamin.  provides energy.  other vitamins make me sleepy and i take them at night.

really enjoying the deck lately.  camping out on it with a wool blanket and reading.  always planned to do exactly what i'm doing.  yay me.  i may explore the genre of books written by teenagers next.  like the outsiders, seventeenth summer, i'm 15 and i don't want to die....etc.  the outsiders, i only liked when i was around 11 years old.  teens have a special way of writing, very blunt.  they are teens.

jn is calling a lot.  i guess that is good.  she delivers car parts, so she can call while working and runs her own day.  she and her husband run that stuff west of here.  she still has all that energy and optimism that you still have in the beginning.  with me, i'm to the point that many of my old recruits from ten years ago were.  now i get everything they were saying and were RIGHT by the way.
rn has more walls and stops up than i do.  she and byn are still working on p's house (it looks fabulous) and then will empty out the other house next.  LOTS of work.  byn is doing most of that with no compensation?  doesn't add up.  she was also "begging off" dinner with her friend an hour south of here, and i said to her, she is fifteen years older than you, why act like that, she may be gone tomorrow.  twenty years ago she was a very important friend to you and business person, now that she is older, you act like that?   you know, think.  never beg off or "rain check" its sooooo rude.  offer an alternative, definite day or don't be friends at all.  never feign affection kind of thing.  so many people do that, as soon as someone is "older" or ill, everyone says, why don't you drop them.  evil.  pure evil - acting like that.  the person that should be dropped is the one saying that.

so the restaurant had lobster ravioli, (i used to love lobster ravioli from carrabas and then it became not worth the price like ten years ago).  this lobster ravioli was in a pink vodka sauce instead of white wine cream sauce.  good.  but the other is better.  omaha charges 20 - 40 for an 18 ounce thing of it and then 15 for shipping.  guess that is why i never order it.  also super fattening and probably full of cholesterol.  haven't had the rest of it yet.

was in a fog most of the day from being up until 5 a.m. finishing that book about the seige of budapest during world war II.  there is a sequel to it as well or you can order the french version that is one book (sure.  lol., though i know a couple of people that can do that and you get more out of it by reading it in the original language.  hmmm.  one day.)   the second book is called "its not so easy to live" and its her life after surviving the seige of budapest and getting out of russian occupied hungry and into austria.  the first book ends with her father exchanging allll of his money for currency and the currency he buys, is money that is no longer in circulation.  omg!  luckily they have jewelry.  always buy and keep your jewelry, it saves you if there is ever a war and your country goes down.  paper money won't be worth anything, but your jewelry will be worth what it is worth permanently everywhere.

I saw a nutritionist this week. Ugh. She wants me to reduce my gluten intake, and is looking at my sugar and artificial sweeteners. Ugh. Aspartame is evil, but I was having no issue with sucralose/Splenda and other sweeteners. Yeah well. It\'s all honey and pure sugar from now on. The gluten will be tougher. She also wanted me to cut out dairy, but I told her I\'d rather die than give up my cheese and yogurt and milk. She called cheese an opiate. I can believe it. And I\'m addicted. And you will pry my cheese from my cold, dead fingers. Ugh. Yeah well. Hope you\'re having a good weekend! *HUGS*

i figured out why the cholesterol is up. ICE CREAM. its ice cream season. been doing half gallons of ice cream with chocolate sauce april and may, so i guess that did me in. its the only thing i\'m doing -- that and tasty cake -- that is way different. so this is the last half gallon and last tasty cake and lets see if it changes. really wish i would lose weight.

try no white food at all. its easier. suzanne somers wrote a book on that. its one of the things that saved her from cancer as well, back when she had cancer and usa doctors gave her a year to live. now she only uses doctors in mexico and italy. no americans. if you watch film on the dairy industry and their treatment of cows and cattle. it makes you feel ill and you won\'t want dairy anymore. factory farming and slaughter houses should all be pole barns. it would END right there. people would be horrified.
