fine line between love and hate

new addition to my med list this a.m., I started victrelis...don't know what to expect...
I will get my 4 week labs as well today...not really expecting to be undie yet, but will look forward to getting my 12 week labs
female-55 years
my baseline VL was 5,600,000, ALT- 52, il28b- CT, stage 3-4 cirrhosis, fibrospect index-94, F-4
previously treated 5/10, disc' after 5 weeks due to low cbc's and slow responder
had MRI's 2/14/11 and 11/7/11, both looked good...
very fortunate to have a wonderful Hepatologist, Paul Kwo at University Hospital in Indy
I'll let you know when I get my results...

What\'s the Victrelis for? I need to look up all those labs, I go for my first CBC tmw. I hope the addition of this new med means you\'re doing well. I\'ll pray for you on the 4th week VL as well. Keep me posted. Hugs,

Beckie, vic., same as boceprevir,(protease inhibitor) instead of incivek, you start with a 4 week lead in w/ SOC ( standard of care ) peg/riba...I think to prepare your body for the vic...don\'t quote me on that, I need to ask more ??\'s when I see my NP the end of this month...thanks for the kind thoughts and also to you Barb, we all need all the support we can get,...peace and love, beth

I did the 12 wk incivek now I am continuing on the interferon and reb. I\'m in my 18th week. when I think I\'m not yet half way through it gets me down like this morning. my VL is still zero.
