Fine Art Prints Melbourne
All artworks are made to order right here in Melbourne & assembled by our team of master picture framers at our local workshop. We have a great collection of map art canvas prints including ancient maps of the world, maps from England, Mexico, France and Germany both modern and old plus some cool underground maps for Berlin, London and other cities. As with all our artworks, these prints are delivered ready to hang straight on the wall including quality wooden stretcher bars/frames. If you are looking for something with a vintage feel, you can find that here, but make no mistake.
Wasn't expecting much but then encountered such a diverse and valued range of artworks. The restaurant in the front opened at 12 noon and now with corona restrictions eased the art gallery should be visited... As well as knowing the tone you want to create with your sage green wall art art, you should also consider whether this is going to be a focal piece of art or a complementary piece. Focal pieces are often larger and bolder while complementary pieces are smaller and more discrete but still emphatic of the mood you’re trying to create.
Make sure that the wall art you put fits the general feel you want out of the room. Vintage art posters have very different characteristics and styles that portray a part of the artist who created them. They were made with the knowledge that they would be in the elements and probably taken down, covered, or simply tossed away, like a flyer may be done today.
A rolled or un-stretched canvas is just the printed canvas without the wooden frame, it is delivered rolled ready to be framed your a local framer or draped as it is without a frame. Most people order rolled canvas prints for ease when moving them long distances for example overseas. Please note if you want to frame your artwork , either yourself or with another company, then please order the paper print not a rolled canvas.
A paper print is the option to choose if you want to frame your artwork in a traditional frame format. Atmospheric and evocative, black and white photography makes for striking art in any room. Stripping out colour adds clarity to the subject, creating a sophisticated and timeless feel.
Very handy to have the Pineapple Gallery shop close to Abbotsford. This is our most popular art paper for photographers but is an equally excellent choice for Fine Art printing, photography and portraiture. German Etching is one of our heavier weight giclée printing papers, its weight and strong texture gives your artwork a handmade crafted and it doesn’t tend to fray as much at the edges. Kurt is a flexible fine art paper suited to every kind of artwork from the more painterly to the sharp edged graphic images. The surface of this paper is not 100% smooth, offering artists a beautiful subtle texture whilst not interfering with the image detail.
We established Print Decor in 1985 when we used to hawk our prints by walking the retail strips of Melbourne. Over the years we have seen many a trend and style come and go and return. We've accumulated quite a wealth of knowledge in the arts and decor sector and still delight in designing the perfect picture framing to enhance our customers' art works. Melbourne is a city of lights, the perfect muse for fine art photography.
It could be in regimented lines or fit together like crazy paving. Swap things around until you’re happy with the design, then take a photo so you can recreate it on your wall. Abstract wall art prints are increasingly popular in interior design due to their unique ability to add colour and texture without being too overwhelming or distracting.
Create a wishlist of your favourite artworks you'd love in your home. Get inspired with our how-to guides ranging from choosing artwork to decorating with colour. Our people are passionate about imaging and many are keen photographers outside of work. By selecting high-quality stocks and machinery our experts make sure they produce the best possible result from images submitted.
