Finding a Good Doc

How do you go find a doctor? 
I'm going to have to go to a pain clinic if I want to get any kind of longer pain relief.  The hard part is that there is only one pain clinic on my insurance, even though there are many clinics in the area.  The only one I can go to is at least half an hour away.
I don't know if it's better to wait until I go to the rheumatologist... or if I can even get into a pain clinic before that appointment! 
Everything costs so much in copays and everything else, that I am leery to make appointments.
Between Fibromyalgia, depression, TMJD, and the other challenges I have for life, I there is not much time or money for much of anything.
