find out soon.....
I'm not sure how things are going to pan out regarding T's future - whether he is accepted or not into the 90 day treatment or not. It can go either way. I thought, for sure, he'd be turned down but now? After the latest antics, who knows? The counselor said something like "T is flying under the radar" - not sure exactly what that meant and I didn't want to ask her to explain with T sitting there with us. And that comment was made before MY HUSBAND spoke up about T's latest shenanigans. I couldn't believe it! He also stated how T's behavior affected everyone - him, me, his support team, the school (especially the assistant principal). T listened like he had never listened before. My husband didn't hold back - telling him how upsetting it was to receive a call from me in the middle of a very important meeting (he was presenting) about what T had pulled yesterday. My husband was very calm when he said it. It was amazing. I truly believe that God was working through him. Before the meeting my husband said "Don't say anything incriminating in front of T". He didn't want T all mad at us because it was a long way home. And perhaps he may have thought that if he said something, it would influence the counselor's assessment. So what does my husband do? He spoke up. And afterward? He said he couldn't believe what he had said in there (something about having a big mouth). I told him it needed to be said. I decided, yesterday, (after all of this time) to really, really put T's fate in God's hands - and truly believe it. A sense of calm is over me and I hope it continues - no matter what is decided.
