Finally Under 240 Pounds!

I'm feeling a bit better today. I had to work hard at work, but I got the jobs they wanted me to done. I left a bit early, but I came in a lot early, so it makes up for it. I got a call about 9:30am today asking me to come in early. I ignored the call at the time, but came in about an hour early. Turns out that they are having a 3k Fund-raising Walk tomorrow and they needed help folding shirts and such for it... I was doing that a lot of the day. In between, I was in Managed Care making appointments for patients. I don't mind Managed Care... it's a lot of being on hold and being patient. I was making weapons out of the office equipment.... making a crossbow out of pens, paper clips and rubber bands. It was kinda fun, but I can see how it would get old fast. I do like being at the information desk, but since they have Nadine there they don't need me as much. I know Claudia and Nadine can do almost everything I can (except speak Spanish) so they actually combined do better than I. Nadine will soon be better than I am too on her own. I just like being there because it's interesting and different things happen all the time. In Managed Care, it's just the same thing over and over... calling people to make appointments and being put on hold.
Last night I fell asleep pretty fast for how I was feeling... It did take me a while to get to sleep, but nothing like a normal night. I think my sleep mojo is fading slowly, but it's still there for now. I wasn't thinking suicidal thoughts again, so that's good. I think knowing I'm going to work is helping me out... just knowing I have something to do the next day is good for me. I'm not going to the fundraiser tomorrow because I don't have money and a way to get there, but I wish I could go if it was later. They want you there at 7:30am! I don't know how many people are going to show up, but today it seemed that nobody knew about it so far, and it's for tomorrow. Plus, it's supposed to rain tomorrow, but we will see how the weather holds up. If I was to go, I would have to be sleeping by now to get my sleep, but I'm not going to go.
Mood today is good.... I'm feeling better since I went into work. I know next week I have my normal Monday and Tuesday hours, Wednesday I'm going to do my 5k, Thursday I'm going to have therapy and then I'm thinking of going in again, and Friday I have my normal hours. I'm going to see what my therapist thinks of work helping me out so much. I know she's going to see it in a positive light, but I wonder why it helps me so much. I wish I could work full time, but it's not in my abilities right now. I'm getting better and better, but I'm not there yet. If I had gone in when they called me today, I could have done a 7 hour day. I wonder when Managed Care starts... I know the information desk starts at 8am, which is just too early for me. I know Managed Care can't be much later than that, but even 8:30 would make a difference if you can believe it. It's just little things like that- the hours that they want me to work- that make the difference.
I'm wondering if I could work at a different place, but I like it there. I think if I could get into Urgent Care, that would be the best place for me there. Then I would be able to work in the afternoons and I would be able to get my sleep. Then again, my therapist would probably say that I need the waking up early to get me ready for the day and it's one of the things that's helping me out so much. I don't know for sure, since I don't wake up until noon on Monday and Tuesday, but I know on Fridays I wake up at 10:30 and that's early for me.
Food today was okay... I'm low on my calories again, but I'm getting used to it again. I finally broke the 240 pound mark, yay! Go me! I'm 239.0 pounds now. It took me a while to get here, but I'm planning on staying under 240 now. I know it means I have to eat more, but right now I'm not hungry. I have an apple and I can have a grilled cheese sandwich if I want one later. I'm not staying up as late, so I'm not eating as much. Stress today was a bit high... work caused me stress, having to stuff bags and hurting my back. I took breaks, but then I felt bad because the other girls weren't taking breaks. I'm glad I got to go to Managed Care to have a break. Sleep was good last night, and mood is good!

Im happy work is turning out to be so positive like giving you a sense of direction for the next day, even though it can add stress i know staying busy helps me alot. WAY TO GO on the 240 mark! Wowwww youve worked so hard and stayed on track so well! Very Proud of you! I know not eating enough is severally hurting me in so many ways so really try hard to hit the minimum each day. For today i hit 872 calories and it was a struggle all day to just get to that and my therapist wants me to hit 1000 calories minimum everyday ... its so hard! Hugggzzzz hope you have a good night :)

You are doing great. Glad you made your goal.
Keep going.
It\'s wonderful you are getting out with this volunteering. It\'s probably a help because you are doing something you like and are with people . Also, you have a routine.
