FINALLY IN THE MODE
Knowing the clock was ticking, I have finally pushed myself to get to baking, shopping... I went and did errands yestereday including hitting the dollar store (now $1.25 but still ok) and then my store. I got most of the munchies... for the kids goodie munch bags and some bingo prizes for our Christmas bingo after dinner. Just have to get one exchange gift and a few more things for the kids and my shopping is done.
Today I finished 6 kinds of cookies and after was quite a sight to see. I had flour on belly and boobs and some splotches of jam on my arms (from filling cream cheese pastries) I tell you NO ONE can say I don't get into my work. haha I haven't made the cream cheese pastries since 1902 soib the beginning they were assorted sizes (but still taste good) and a few I thought too brown on edges (so I couldn't give those. Wound up eating some fo those, a taste of the pb fudge , a candy cane that almost broke. Tasted too much that I barely had dinner. (Yes I know, not good for my sugar)
Tomorrow I must run to the office to pay the difference from old payment to new pymt since rent increase in my apt lease. I swore last month I reset it in my phone to pay new amt yet they did it again and here I am doing second pymt. Then to pharmacy. Home to make cutout dough and bakje a pumpkin roll. Then my baking will be all but done. Woo Hoo.
I also need to try to get ahold of my insurance woman to get things in order for next year. I got 2 phone calls today from someone else and am worried I got passed along since a new company bought out her old one. She was very good and would do all she could to get you best deal. I am worried I may not have that now. But anyhow, cannot let that rain on my parade.... too much to get done.
I hope all are muddling through and getting what we need to done. Love and hugs and warm holiday wishes to all.

Just watching you make all that stuff and covering yourself with the remnants of your work would be something I would really enjoy,......Like watching an artist get paint all over them.. Seeing the look on your face from all the happiness your hard work would bring to others would be a sight to behold...There is nothing better in this world then eating food cooked with Love.
Hope you all have a great Christmas! hugs
