Finally Friday
Yeah, I skipped yesterday, an idiotic comment from a co-worker had me so crazed that I couldn't post or even eat dinner.
I had another strange dream last night. It has haunted me all day. I was in a very big area that was fairly flat. Like a prairie, it kinda reminded me of some places in Montana. There were a number of strange little ultra-light type helicopters. People were getting rides in them, one at a time, and they would land in random places. Someone, I wonder who, went for a ride in one and I couldn't find where she came back down, I spent a long time frantically searching. I would run from one landing helicopter to the next looking for her. It was exhausting. At one point, off in the distance I spotted a dog I used to have a long time ago. I've lost a few dogs over the years. My dog didn't come when I called him, instead trotting off, I was supposed to follow, I know this as he had me well trained. I knew somehow that if I followed him I'd never wake up. Then I started wondering where I was and what was going on and I got very scared and woke up. Seems like I never get to sleep through the night anymore. That's not helping. I'm always tired. It was 1:30 am and I was up for quite some time thinking about that dream. There were recognizable people in my dream but they're all still alive. The only deceased beings that I know that were in the dream were my dog and Abby though I never actually saw her, I was just hunting for her.
I once had a dream that I had died. I was walking through an immense field of grass. The grass was waist high. I heard them coming. Then they burst out of the grass, full of panting tongues and doggie smiles. Every dog I had ever owned. They were so glad to see me. I let them jump on me and knock me down laughing in the grass as I tried to greet each one. Last nights dream had a similar feel. I wonder if they're waiting for me? Wouldn't that be wonderful?
I don't tell anyone about my dreams they may reveal more about me than I'm comfortable with.
Finished with dinner now and it sounds like the dryer shut off so I'd better go get the laundry.
