Finally Feeling Better?AND GOOD NEWS/BITTERSWEET
Finally, today I started feeling better....Poor Abby she has been sick too..Had to rush her to the vet yesterday...First the day before she got into my sinutab's...why cause she was not getting attention. So I had to get her to upchuck...Dogs like the taste of hydrogen proxide except Abby is just too smart...After the first two times of having to use it, she won't take it so had to make her and I think she may have gotten a little to much and got the tummy ache..So off to the vet for diarehha(spelling) Is there a spell check for this site????? Anyway, she laid around like me all day,,so far me it's been 3 days...but we are both feeling better now...Still can't eat (me) animals seem to recover so much faster than people....maybe I am just a whimp...But good to start feeling better...
The Good News/ WITH bittersweet....THE NEW GREATGRANDDAUGHTER WAS BORN TODAY....GABBY...HOW SWEET...WISH I COULD GO SEE HER..BUT HER PICTURES ARE SO PRESIOUS...THE BITTERSWEET IS SHE IS KEN'S 2ND GRANDDAUGHTER...I can see her now, holding that little girl in his arms like he did his first granddaughter, with the biggest smile ever on his face. I would post pictures, but I still can't upload any on this site....Will be so happy to get to travel and hold that little girl in my arms...Cong to Bethany(my granddaughter and hubby Chris...their first...I know Beth was ready bless her heart..all this heat, but all is well and happy now. Bet Ken got to hold her before we got to see her. I know he is a proud granddaddy right now, knowing the family is welcoming our new baby in the family a contiuation of Ken as his life continues to bring new family members...thank you Ken for your family.
I am getting excited about the retreat. But don't know if I can do a scrapbook. I am still unable to bend and do things yet except lay around, sit and walk...gets a bit boring, but getting better everyday.
What's really funny(if surgery can be funny), I asked my friend why do surgery right before summer(by the way her hip replacement is doing great...NO PAIN)..then there I end up in the hospital the same night and what do I get SURGERY! Well, maybe I won't be down and out all summer and at least we got to take a trip to Cancun before this happened and thank God it did not happen in Mexico, can you imagine.
Just thought I would update you on our news and how Abby and I are doing...Hope everyone is holding in there. I wish I could read all the journals and reply, just can't stay up that long, but hope you all know I am thinking of each of you...
Sunday will be a special day. My kids dad will be coming to my church Sunday to do a special song in honor of Kenny...We used to have a gospel group years ago, so I thought this would be a way of sorta a little memorial here since we did not get to do one here in Indiana. But this Father's Day, he and I will do a song for him. His dad does not attend church for a long time now so I was pleased that he agreed.
Wishing all of you a good as it can be weekend....Now dad's will have sad day as we mother's did, I just don't think a lot of them show their emotions as much as mom's do..So I will keep them in my prayers..
