Finally an update!

Well I thought since Brayden is sleeping I'll finally try to find time to update. The last 7 weeks have been pretty crazy. We are adjusting well to life with a baby. Unfortunatly our schedule will have to change in just a few weeks because I have to go back to work on June 4th. Im NOT looking forward to that. I dont know how I'm going to be able to leave Brayden all day long. Its not going to be easy, but it has to be done. I do miss being in a social setting and I really miss all the girls I work with, but I cant imagine only seeing Brayden for a few hours a day. Wish I had the money to be a stay at home mommy. Its still so surreal that I finally have a baby. Hes getting SOOOO big. He weighs 14lbs 8ozs already and hes about 24/25 inches long. Hes smiling more and more everyday and also trying to giggle. The other night he was up eating and he was still so tired he was falling asleep while eating. Everytime he would close his eyes then open them and see me he'd get this huge smile on his face. He did it like 3 or 4 times and I was laughing so hard at him I woke my husband up. Seeing him smile at his mommy is the most amazing thing in the world.We are surviving our first cold. Brayden and I are both sick!!! YUCK! Brayden got stuffy on Wed. night and he coughed all night. Me and my husband were both up ALL night watching him. It was SOOO scary. I called the doctor on Thur. and they saw him and said hes fine just has a little cold. Thankfully his lungs were clear. The next day is when I started getting the cold. I feel AWFUL so I know he does also. Its the worst feeling in the world knowing your child is sick and theres nothing you can do to make him feel better. I can take medicine to make me feel better, hes still to little. All I'm allowed to do for him is suck his nose out and give him saline nasal spray....which makes him cry even harder. He goes back to the doctor this week to get his shots  :(        Wish us luck. I still havent been back to the doctor. I was supposed to go last week but we started towards town and it was flooded everywhere....so we had to turn around. They still havent sent me a replacement app. I had to go to the dermatologist though. My whole body was breaking out worse then it has my entire life. They put me on a few medicines and I'm starting to clear up, its still pretty bad, but let me tell you my face is SOOOOO sore. I cant even think about putting makeup on because it burns SOOO bad. They said I'll get used to it and it wont hurt anymore. I hope that happenes soon. Well thats about it. Ive been trying to get caught up with everyone. I think about you guys all the time. I better go enjoy some quite time before Brayden wakes up. Hugs Monica.
