Finally a little relief
So for the past three days I have been, with the help of my husband, trying to express the nasty junk out of a rather angry abscess on my rear. First day I tracked down the Tumeric and Zinc Oxide paste (was Desitin Max, like 40% zinc oxide) made a paste of the two, and really really loaded in the Tumeric, that stuff was like tile grout! LOL Kept it on all that day and almost all of the second. And during all this time we were re-treating the house via 150 degrees of heat for an hour or so, each room in our house because of bed bugs.
Almost at the end of day two I finally took the bandage off. We didn't think it had opened it up any, and it took me going and taking a shower of sorts to get the "tile grout" I had mixed up off my rear. Folks weren't kidding when they said this stuff stains like crazy! I now have a yellow streak from my rear, down the backside of both legs, and down the back of both feet.ROFLMAO! Now if someone calls me a "yellow tail" (coward) I can't exactly disagree with them..LOL
Since then about twice a day, my hubby squeezes on it (not good I know, I know! but ya gotta get relief however you can get it, and believe me it does help with the pain, and I STILL gots no insurance yet, so can't exactly afford to get meds and can't afford to let this junk just sit in me. :(..) And expresses some of the junk out of it. Hurts like holy hell at the time, but afterwards, God the relief! And now the thing looks like I got a sunburn there, the skin is flaking. Don't make it look any prettier, but I could give a hoot less right now, I can actually sit without bawling my eyes out.
We're just gonna keep heat treating the house every 7 days. That's how long all the sites I have visited say it takes a bed bug to hatch from the egg. So if we can keep treating till we have completely wiped out all possible adults, and start getting them before they become adults, we can kill them out.
On a good note though, I gots me a new car! We new to ME anyways..lol I was driving, sort of, a 88 VW Cabriolet Convertible. Cute little cars, and they run almost forever. But we had just replaced the oil pump, and were in the process of replacing the water pump too, when my husband came across a major stumbling block. He has no tool and no way to get to the main bolt that holds the water pump on. That had us just so totally screwed. Granted, if he had had the right tool, he could have probably gotten it off. But he didn't, and didn't have the money to buy one, much less take it to someone who could. And it ain't like we're gonna get help with that from his mom any. Her getting a tool or part for a vehicle of ours just isn't gonna happen. BUT she was already going to sell her 95 Honda accord LX so she sold it to us. On the flip side, she bought the car for $1,100 and is selling it to us for $1,800 on payments. The car is worth it though, I guess. At least it has super cold AC, and is comfortable and an automatic, so I don't have to worry about have an owie and trying to change gears or push in the clutch anymore. Here's a pic of what it looks like. It's got a working sun roof, but it leaks so it's sealed at the moment, but we'll get the gasket for that and get it fixed with no problem. I hope this is signifying that things are going to get better for us. I hope so cause I hate like hell to see the hubby depressed, hate it for myself, but most of all hate it for the kids.
On a side note, my daughter has developed a lump in her left armpit. I don't know if it the beginning of HS for her, or if it has something to do with whatever is going on with her before this. I sincerely hope and pray to God to not let this be HS on my baby, I would just die, I would be heartbroken. Please everyone say a little prayer for my baby that she don't have HS and that whatever this is, is related to all the other weird stuff that is going on with her. <3
