Final Verdict

Yesterday I received a call from the property manager.  They want to try and rectify my issues and still have me move in. They first fixed my smoke detector.  This was good as I threatened to call the county.  They are doing a total extermination clean out and then will deep clean the whole apartment.  They also offered to refund the whole month of July.  Will wait and see what happens.  But half my things are still there...I called a lawyer, they have seven days to fix the problem.  Of course, I won't believe any of this until I do a walk thru and the place is bug free and I have my July payment back.  Won't fault them for making effort.  I'm looking at this as a reason this is all happening, but, what I dont know.

Work is slow again.  They had to shut down a job because workers tested positive.  None of us have been exposed in the office so far.  For Round 2 we are all wearing masks in the office.  

I've noticed in the grocery stores that things are selling out again.  This has been the only thing that has made me anxious, the fear of not having enough.  I see signs in the stores that there is a coin shortage...dont know what that's all about.  I hope this thing dies down before flu season.  

I guess I will get up and get around for work.  Going to stop by and pick up my mail at the other place.  Have a Happy Wednesday all!
