Filming a Short Movie

with my next-door neighbor and buddy Sean about a golf stud who makes physically impossible shots on the golf course, and the competition he's got going with his golf partner.  We're thinking up trick shots; it's going to be really funny!  My Spielbergian juices are flowing again... It rained on our parade today; we live right on the golf course, so it wasn't far to travel, and, when we got out there, this humongous sheet of gray approached over the tree-line, so we got about four shots and then high-tailed it for the car as a few tiny raindrops quickily blossomed to hundreds...got great extreme closeups of massive amounts of raindrops spattering the pavement, reminiscent of Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan, when the boys trudge through the Normandy countryside and come upon a German gun bunker (first one rain-drop on the leaves, then another, then speckles spattering a mud-hole where the guys' boots splash through). It's raining now, with dark clouds and distant thunder.  I love being indoors while it's raining and thundering outside!  It opens a dark, dark corridor in my heart that I find very appealing...

wow now you really sound like scotty-- he\'s all into short films, and golf courses... happy gilmore is an all-time favorite of his (not that adam sandler movies are necessarily in the same category as spielberg....) but hey man if orlando\'s not far you should team up on a project or something

Thanks! I too love Adam Sandler\'s Happy Gilmore as much as any of Spielberg\'s work--that movie is so hilarious!
