Fibromyalgia

My first and only entry on DS was October 16, 2007 and here I am October 23, 2012, 5 years later still looking for answers and relief. Everthing I try lasts just a little while, not long at all, I get minimal relief and I am back to square one. so incredibly frustrating. I ask myself why do I have this awful disease fibromyalgia and hypothyroidism and autoimmune disease??? This isn't fair. I do my best to live each day but how do you do that when you are just so exhausted from the pain? I feel like I am constantly trying to keep up with normal ppl and I fail miserably b/c I just cannot do it. STill, I give it my all and stay positive and act like this isn't taking over... I wish I could find something that will take all this pain away. I don't remember the last time I had no pain and when others think that fibro pain is all in your head, I wish they could feel the pain and understand.  I dont not clean the bathroom when it needs cleaning because I am lazy, if I dont do it it is b/c I know if I do it and my pain levels are already high, that will push me over the edge.  I want to be active and do all the things that normal people do with ease, guess it is just not in the cards for me.  I work full-time and by the end of the day some days, that is just all I have. I know that working out and staying fit is my best shot at less pain, If I wasn't so exhausted from the pain perhaps the gym might be an option.  Ugh!!! Just feeling frustrated today and looking for answers.  I will pray again tonight that this pain will go away or I will learn to manage it better.

Ugh...So tired today. I just bought a house, have the best boyfriend a girl could ask for, my 19 yr. old seems to be on a better path and I am so exhausted I can barely enjoy all the good in my life right now. I know moving and painting and all the stuff that is ahead is going to cause me more pain than I am already in, and I am having trouble dealing now. I hate that I have Fibromyalgia and I hate that I am always exhausted. Wish I could just be normal!
