Fever Induced Rambling - at least that's my excuse for the disjointedness

Ok, just need to get a little venting out. Feeling like I have all of these emotions getting bottled up and thinking if I can just journal a little and get them out, maybe I'll feel better.
I've been subbing every day for the last week, mostly because I kept thinking that we need the money. But man, I feel like I am behind on everything around the house and I haven't had any time to deal with emotions as they come. I've noticed that any event in my cycle seems to trigger emotional fallout. I got emotional when I ovulated. The last week I've been anticipating AF, which is due tomorrow.
Man, why can't life just be normal? Do normal people get so hung up on AF? Do normal people's lives revolve around their reproductive cycle? I'm so sick of it consuming my thoughts!
I've been so irritable the last week. Every little thing just gets to me. My husband is usually the comforting, happy part of my life when I get like this. I want him around and no one else. This time even he is bugging me. I just want to be left alone.
I've also been SUPER tired, which isn't helping the irritability, I'm sure. Today I have a fever, so it seems maybe the irritability and tiredness were from that, at least partially. I feel like crap.
And I find myself becoming increasingly angry at my family. I've said before that I've tried really hard to not let anger find a place in me while healing from my loss. But maybe denying it has had the opposite effect, I don't know. I'm just so mad at them...and hurt. When I got back from the Dr with the confirmation that I was indeed miscarrying, I called my mom and just cried. She has been the only one who has since asked me how I'm doing. Although usually followed up with some insensitive comment, like "You tell Matt to be there for you because your dad was never there for me during mine" or asking me if I had done various things that may have caused it. I finally told her that the Dr had said it wasn't my fault, there was nothing I could have done differently, and it probably just wasn't a viable pregnancy from the beginning.
I texted my sister, the one who has been my biggest support during the years of TTC. She wanted to come and be with me. I told her I loved her but really just needed to be alone for a few days. I don't know if I hurt her feelings, but she has been MIA since. She texted me the other day to see if we were coming to Thanksgiving dinner. I was honest and told her I had been going back and forth but we would probably come. She asked why I was unsure. I told her that I was still mostly a mess most days and was anticipating a rough week. Haven't heard a reply yet.
Not one single member of my family, other than my mom in her own messed up way, has called to check on me. I got a couple of I'm sorry's on Facebook from 2 other sisters, but that's it.
I mean, really, what the hell?
I know that it's hard to know what to say but family is supposed to be the first line of support and defense. They are supposed to be the first ones in line to help and offer love.
But do you know who has stepped up and been my support? Women from my book club who I would call friends, but in all honesty barely know. At least one stopped by every day the week of my miscarriage. Most with flowers and a card. They brought dinner every night that week. And since, each has checked in with me to see how I'm doing.
I'm so disappointed in my family. They should have been the ones doing that. They should have been the ones knowing I felt like dying and still do at times.
I realized the other day that my heart is just full of anger and fear. I'm afraid I'll never get pregnant again. That was it, my one shot. But I'm just as afraid that I will and I'll lose it again.
I'm so sick of all of this. I just want to get back to my life and not feel sad. I just want to have a normal life, whatever that means. I've started thinking maybe I should just forget the whole thing and try to just move on.

You will never be able to just forget the whole thing and move on, no matter how hard you try. The best thing you can do is allow yourself to feel your feelings without letting them making you feel guilty. Start a journal at home, and just document how your feeling when you\'re feeling it. If you keep bottling it up inside because you\'re \"busy\" then it will explode. How awesome of your book club to step up and be the best. It\'s crazy who comes through when you really need them to, and who end up not, isn\'t it? Unfortunately family and friends who tend to step back because they don\'t want to hurt, but don\'t realize lack of trying to help hurts in itself. Wishing you lots of love and peace this holiday, as I know it\'s a really hard one

Sorry you are feeling let down. I haven\'t seen much of my family since the infertility arose but I think that\'s because they just don\'t know how to handle it and I find it easier to talk to people that are not so close to me. Take care and thinking of you:-)

I\'m sorry girl. It sucks when family doesn\'t do their job. I\'m glad you have your book club. They sound amazing. Thinking about you :)

Thanks ladies. Feeling better in every way today. Some days I just really wish I could be like those normal fertile women who never have to obsess about their cycle, you know?
