FET is over...I am considering myself officially PUPO!
Before I get into the FET update, I want to say a huge thank you to you all for your amazing support and encouragement.....it has meant the world to me and I'm really not sure I would have gotten this far without you (definitely not sanely anyway!)
So the FET was pretty uneventful, similar to the IUIs like everyone said. I was sad that DH couldn't be there, but a very sweet nurse held my hand through it as DH's "stand in." It was over in like 3 minutes. I was a bit concerned since other doctors have had trouble getting past my cervix into my uterus since I have a tilted cervix.....during my HSG test the doctor gave up after 30 minutes of trying and I had to go back after I took a pill to dilate my cervix. I was told the catheter for the FET is way smaller though so it wouldn't be an issue, but to be on the safe side, they gave me a valium today to relax my muscles. I have to say, it was soooo very cool to see it all happening on the monitor and it's amazing to think there is a little embie inside of me. Now I just need the little totsicle to stick!!! Beta is July 5. Any suggestions on what I should or shouldn't do to make this little guy (or girl!) stick?
Love to all.....

Yay!! I am doing a happy dance at my desk! I say relax (hahaha) as much as possible. Some people on here say to eat pineapple, or the core more specifically. But more importantly enjoying being PUPO!!! Congrats hun. Hope the 5th brings a BFP and the start of 9 happy healthy months!
Congrats on being PUPO! Yay!!!! You\'ve come so far. There isn\'t too much you can do to make it stick or not. I wish there was a magic solution. Just try to not do anything strenuous and try to relax. When is your beta? I am crossing my fingers for you.
I\'m glad everything went well. I hope you get your BFP on the 5th!!!!! I don\'t think there is anything you can do, just try and pass the time without going crazy!!
I am so excited for you! Those 4th o July fireworks will be to celebrate your bfp!
Congrats on being PUPO, come on little embie stick!!!! Just relax, take it easy these next two weeks and do some nice stuff for you! :)
Just try to relax and things willl go great. July 5th is a wonderful day for a beta, it\'s my bday ; ) I\'m sure it will bring you luck and you\'ll get great news.
I was thinking of you all day and I\'m glad that it went well even if DH couldn\'t be there.
Congrats on PUPO !!!
YAY! Now rest up and relax....Hoping your 2ww goes swimmingly!
Congrats!!!!! Haha.. So this cycle I didn\'t eat pineapple and was stressed with family problems and it worked. I did take about 3 days of bedrest. Stayed close to home and rested for about a week. I honestly think it will just happen when it\'s right... Best Wishes!!!! Congrats again!
Congratulations! And how sweet of your nurse to stand in for your hubby. For a first transfer, I\'m sure it meant a lot to you. Did you transfer one or two embies? When is your beta?
i didint eat pineapple this cycle either, i wouldnt bother if i was you, theres too much contradiction about it... good luck and hopefully 5th july comes fast for you, just live as you live and pray for the best - i honestly think getting on with things makes it all run smooth . good luck
I\'m glad it went well and was a good experience for you. I have a tilted uterus as well and they\'ve had issues with the catheters before. Well, you are PUPO so congrats! Did you hear what grade your embryo was?
Relax as much as you can. Put your feet up, have DH do the housework...that\'s what RE told me. Hoping you get that BFP on July 5th! Good luck!!!
