Feeling SO Empty

 Hi Me, Hi everyone.
I wish I could beat this feeling of being so empty inside. It's been 8 months now and I cant get past this woman in my heart. I know TIME! And at a time when I should be so happy!
I took a few extra vacation days this week to start getting things ready to show to realtors and get on the market. WHOW have we accumulated a lot of "stuff".  The GOOD News is that I had asked my landlord (where I am currently working) to stop by and check on my horse. He mention to his daughter and son-in-law that I was getting ready to sell my place here in West Texas (They live in same town where i lived and had bought a house last spring). They called me and asked to see my property on Sunday. They came out and their girls ran, played and laughed and we had a good visit. AND they said they wanted to buy. Well I prayed about it and they did as well and we came to an agreement. We signed a Texas gentleman’s contract last night. All hinges on the appraisal of the property. If that is within the Hi of his preapproval and the Low I set all is a go. He is heading to his lender and me to the Title Office to file the contract (AND NO Relator fees) Should be able to close within 5 to 9 weeks, maybe sooner depending on an appraiser. Boy will I have my work cut out and the expense of fuel of multiple trips back and forth hauling my accumulated stuff.
Another challenge will be that me and the EX will finally be dividing the household things and family mementoes. Me and the daughter reminisced over SO Many photos this weekend. I know that I will be an emotional wreak again thinking about all the good family times. But it is time to once again begin walking forward on a better path. I am at the beginning of the closing of this chapter. So Today I am headed back to so that I can get back to work for a few days.
I just wish I could find a way to dull the emptiness of the loss/seperation from my soul-mate. Well it was not a loss, I was blessed with her and knowing what love and compatability really is for a time and I know her heart felt and feels the same. Some day she too will know ,like us all here know, that we give 150% for years and no matter what we did mattered if the other half does not give as well. Then she to will begin a new path. I miss her and I pray that her having had me in her life does not hamper her on her journey. And that maybe someday our paths will again cross and become the same direction.
But I am so glad that my friends here will pray for my guidance during this transition. Please everyone keep your fingers crossed I get a GOOD HI appraisal.

WT first of all congratulations on the sale of your place!
As to cleaning out and paring down -- well, let\'s just say it\'s a humongous task -- one thta has taken me YEARS to do and I still have too much stuff. 50 boxes packed for the movers and counting...Good thing I started early. Not actually moving until probably April 15 and in the meantime, I may be tempted to chuck some of those packed boxes!

I think you will start to feel a whole lot better once you are out of there and nesting in your own new place. Put all that stuff behind you and start to REALLY look forward. I just know that something wonderful is going to happen for you! xoxox
