Feeling sad
At this moment I'm feeling rather despondent, and hopeless. I held myself together today by not having the TV on and getting out of the house. My friend and I went shopping. I read blowhard's inaugural address because I needed to know what he said. There really wasn't really any surprise for me, because I know the darkness that lives in his heartless body. I am trying to stay strong. There is a march for women on Sat in DC. I wish I could go to it, but I don't feel comfortable in that kind of crowd. Just too many people for me.
My nephew and his boyfriend will be there. And many other people. I will be there in spirit. I've been trying to do what I can to spread the word out there. I wore black today, not realizing that others called today a day of mourning and also wore black.
I don't know what will be in store for all of us. I pray we survive the next 4 years.

I don't live in the US but know how you feel. There were anti Donald Trump marches in the UK yesterday and there is one in London today, 'Women against Trump'. All any of us can do (in the US and around the world) is sit and watch and hope that Trump will go on to make informed choices that will keep his Country and the world safe. I choose to believe that because I have nothing else to go on and I will with optimism. I also believe we do better when we can find a small acceptance than when we choose to live in denial. Feel better soon.
