feeling pretty good today

I'm feeling pretty good today. Why does empty nest coincide with menopause? I made a meat loaf for my mother in law and she actually liked it! Did some things around the house today...laundry, cleaning, getting winter clothes out, etc. My back hurts now. Got an email from my beloved son. He went to the career fair at college yesterday and got a few good job prospects! I am so happy for him. I want him to succeed so badly. He's a smart boy...could be a little more assertive...but I think he'll be okay. That's what I want for him...to be happy and successful and enjoy his employment and be able to support a family. Is that too much? lol.
