Feeling okay today..
Today my Aunt and Uncle came for a visit from Indiana... My aunt is a minister, she prayed with me, she blessed the house, we discussed the bible and faith, the told me about a book called Heaven is for real, its a book documenting the events that led up to and after, a little boy had nearly died, went to heaven and returned. I had to read it, we went to the book store and I bought it, I read the whole thing in 4 hours! Mom's if you have not read this book please do, in just 24 hours I went from suicidal grieving mom to a content believer that my son is so much better off where he is and more happy and loved than he would ever be here on earth. For the first time, the suffocating his gone, my fears of whether he is truly in heaven or a confused soul because of his untimely death are gone...I feel as if I KNOW hes okay, and I'm at peace..I'm not saying I wont still cry for what Ive lost, or stop missing him..he will forever be my son. I still catch myself referring him in the present tense, look for him in the face of his brother, and talk to him when I'm missing him, but I'm okay. If you have lost a young child this is a must read! Lots of love to all my dear friends...

I am delighted to read this! This book has been mentioned just lately in other mom\'s journals so I do believe it\'s a must read because it is being mentioned so much as of late. Isn\'t it truly amazing when our perspectives can be changed in a way where we can feel as if we can still breathe again... So happy too that your visit from family brought you peace. I have read this book. It is comforting, truly eye-opening and brought me peace of mind with some things I have been through. I hope that it will bring others peace, too. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers.
This book definitely gave me piece of mind, it was comforting to know that my little boy was most likely having a great time up there, but the high I got from it last night has worn off and I still miss him with everything I am...
I have read (most) of the book and it\'s interesting! and reaffirms my belief that our children are \"OK\" and actually more than that.. they are in Paradise. Ups and downs as to how we feel is part of the baggage on this journey we take, so don\'t despair!
