Feeling Nervous

Feeling a little nervous about finding a job.  Guess I was spoiled last time.  Before this job, I had gotten laid off on Monday, December 5th,,,applied for unemployment on Tuesday,,,got a job offer on Wednesday.  Got another offer on Friday.  Didn't think I wanted the Wednesday job.  Thought it was telemarketing.  But, the company kept after me, asking me to just come out a test for it.  Plus, people called them.  Went out the next week,,,passed the tests and was hired by Convergys.  Started training that January 5th.  Not too bad.  But this time is different.  There's no severance pay from the old job.  No cushion.  And nobody has contacted me about a job.  Also, having problems with unemployment benefits.  Big mixup.  Packet didn't come and delayed my search,,,, wrong numbers called,,,wrong places called.  Two divisions,,one helps you find a job,,,the other handles benefits.  Have applied online for jobs.  Went to a job fair where I got a couple of leads.  Maybe get a chance back in t.v.  But money is a problem and I'll have to work on that tomorrow.

I left a job and had to fight to get unemployment once
because I had such good reasons for going
finally I got it
I \"thought\' it would be nothing to find another job..had always been hired immediately, in big demand. But this wasn\'t the case much to my surprise this time.
It took 6 months to get another job.
maybe due to my age, maybe due to my health issues, not being able to do all I once could..I don\'t know.
But not getting a job easily this time, killed my self- esteem, I was depressed. It is a wonder I ever got a job again..I was no longer the person I once was in interviews..I lost my confidence.
You stay strong..know you are not alone ..and don\'t allow this to do to you what it did to me..it only compounds the problem. It will work out..just believe in yourself and go into all interviews as if you are an asset to them..because YOU \"ARE\" !!
