Feeling Much Better
Wednesday, July 1, 2009 - 6:10 PM I am feeling much better today than I have in quite some time. That could be due to the fact that I decided to stop taking some of my antidepressants for a while. I doubt if my psychiatrist would like that, but it is my decision not his. Although I still have not heard from the man in Florida regarding the catheters, I believe that I now possess all the information I need to know for the time being. I will give it another couple of weeks, and if I am still having problems, I will call him at that time. When my medicine still had not arrived from the mental health clinic this morning, I called their pharmacy and asked if the medicine had been sent. The pharmacist told me it had been mailed to me last Friday, and I should have received it this Monday. When I learned that it had been sent by UPS, I suspected that it might have been taken to the apartment complex leasing office, so I went there, and sure enough, the package was waiting for me. I saw the manager, and I told her that the next time it happened I would appreciate it if someone would call and notify me that there was a package at that office. While I was there, I also told them that I needed a few more repairs to be to be made at my apartment. By the time I got home from seeing Dr. Martin, my psychologist, all the repairs were completed with the exception of one, which requires them to order some supplies. This afternoon I saw Dr. Martin, after being stuck in an elevator for about 15 minutes. Normally people get on and off the elevator on a steady basis, which helps because I am unable to reach the buttons on the control panel. That did not happen today, so I did not have much choice but to remain there until someone pushed one of the call buttons from the upper floors.
