Feeling Great/Feeling Terrible
I had such a great Friday - I thought I was cured - hahaha! Saturday I got up all excited and feeling that I needed to go out, no xanax - big mistake - I went to the grocery store with my husband and bam a panic attack - went to home depot and again panic - went out to lunch, again panic - So, on Sunday I figure I will take a xanax and try to get out again - I did make it to church only a little anxious, then I attempted Target only to feel the fear again - I am not going to give up, I need to keep trying to get out there! It seems that when I feel great it is short lived - but then again it took me a long time to get where I am with Panic so I am sure it's going to take a long time to get rid of it! On Friday I really thought I was feeling so good because I took xanax but then I took xanax today and I did not feel great - my dr. wants me to take it daily but I feel that if it is not helping me tremendously I should not take it because I don't want to become addicted to it - my dr. told me not to worry about becoming addicted - it would be better to take it and live a normal life then be where I am. I want to thank all of my friends who take the time to read my journal and give me the encouragement and suggestions that I need!

you got it! just keep pushing yourself, you have to show that \'mean phobia monster\' just who is boss. just remember that you have done it before without panic, try not to dwell on the times that you have done it with panic...xxx
Do you think that maybe something that happened before or just after you entered the grocery store may have triggered the Panic attack, maybe a comment that someone made or something that may have startled you.Perhaps by dealing with whatever it was and talking about it with someone,ie any of your friends on the DS site inc me.You may be able to deal with it better the next time or hopefully there won\'t even be a next time.Because I bet it was awful for you.Chin up, and try to think of all the positive things that you have accomplished over the last few days, and give yourself a pat on the back, you deserve it.XXX
Hi.....I think the first thing I ever said to you was \"Mirror Image\"....well I am saying it again!!
Think you can do anything...messing about with tablets....think I am better....don\'t need tablets....oops-need tablets..on and on and on....!!!
For once I actually agree with your doctor. I was the same as you...did not want to always be taking tablets and get addicted. But you know, I have decided if that is what it takes to give me a better life....I am going to stick with it. If I had diabetis or a heart condition I would be on tablets all my life...why are we any different. Just my opinion.....took me a long time to come to terms with this decision though. lol Beth xx
