Feeling Good
Hi, I need to update. I am doing better as time goes on. I neglected cleaning while Bent was in the Hospital. So you could say I'm catching up. I decided I needed to get busy. I started with mine house and finished with my mom house. I want you all to know with out all of you I don't no where I would be. Losing Bent was tough. I look back and I realized I found DS when I was going though a rough time with my family. I remember telling Brent about the friends I made and all the good advice and support I was receiving. He told me it sounded like what I needed. Boy was he right. I want to be just as supportive to you all as you have been and still are with me. I find confort in knowing I'm sharing with others as they are with me. and its nice to know I have friends. I know my journy of grief isn't over and its one step at a time. I hope you all have a wonder week.God Bless Terrie

Yes, Terrie, I did read your journal but I just didn\'t get the time to respond. I am sorry for this. I know that my daughter too wasn\'t able to deal with the work, cleaning and her grief. Its always priorities that one has to make during this journey of grief. She was only able to do the basics, wash clothes, cook a little, pickup but this past several months she too has been busy cleaning up a storm and doing well.
You always know you are on the upside when you are able to clean and focus on today. It doesn\'t stop the journey of grief but it helps to be able to focus on the now things.
Friends are important in this journey of life. What would we do without each?
I am so glad to hear that you glucose was so good. It will come down! Remember to celebrate Brent\'s life and the wonderful times you had together. Your life is different without Brent but without Brent ever being in your life you would of never experienced all the joy, love, laughter and happiness you did experience with him. So remember the great times and cherish them forever!
God Bless - I promise I will call!
Much love,
Monica
