Feeling Enthusiasm
Hi DS Family,
i am feeling enthusiastic about life in itself and want to share this wonderful experience with you. Although I continue to experience difficult days and pain, my focus is on gratitude and God residing within my very body gives me cause to celebrate life.
Our bodies are Temples and I am waking each morning focusing on this fact with wonder. As I stay in this place of wonder of life it pours grace into my emotional state and I no longer give my body have the power to rule my very existence!
I know this sounds a bit off, because most of us suffer severe symptoms of diseases. I just prefer to contemplate the glory of life and see it’s granduer in simple everyday experiences. It’s taking me much practice to remain in this state of Grace.
I have finally Cut the cord to my son and although I miss my grandsons, I feel FREE from his emotional stress and melodrama. I can’t expect from him, what he doesn’t even give to himself. I pray he can stop drinking and look at himself with love and nurturing within, instead of seeking externals to support him through life.
I love my family, but refuse to take on their insane dramatic approaches to life.
I have ave learned to love myself first and formost, which gives me the Grace to live in Gratitude for everything the way it is presently. Surrender is pure bliss. I still have my human emotional moments, however I witness them instead of attaching myself to despair or any of the challanges that come with each day.
Just St wanted to say hi and give my LOVE to all my dear friends here. My compassion for us all is never ending and I keep you in my Heart with positive healing thoughts.
Blessings with much Love

Good for you for being brave and standing up for what you need to heal the best you are able to. Sometimes we just have to push them out of the nest and let them fall....
Happy for your state of Grace....
Thank you for this encouraging journal. You are so right to cut the cord with your son. It has to be very difficult, but I am finding, as well, that I can't expect people to do what they can't do. I'm so glad you are focusing on the glory of God in the midst of unspeakable pain. Much love.
Namaste beautiful Debra soul. Your words are very significant and uplifting as always. I think so many of us here forget to love ourselves and continually sacrifice ourselves for others, often when it is detrimental to our well being.. You had no choice but to disassociate with your son inorder to heal and free yourself from the pain..I too believe that our body is a temple to house the real us, the spirit soul. God is unlimited and is situated within our heart also..as the super soul.
You are a blessing to my life and I am so grateful for your reminding words of wisdom. Love to you always xoxoxo
Very uplifting journal to read. Thanks for spreading positive energy. I admire your decision relating to your family. If you move to Arizona with a Subaru, we must get together. I will be visiting Tucson in April with a rental car, but moving to Tucson in September with my husband, 2 cats, and 2 Subaru cars (one Forester and one Outback).
Wow! I did not own a vehicle presently, which is another reason to make be for me. I will stay with a dear Native American female friend on her reservation for a few months and I’ll be able to purchase a car and find my own little nest.
I found the Desert extremely healing and look forward to the Native American Sweet lodge to purify my body, mind, and soul. ;)
I am presently organizing and discarding much I don’t need. Due to illness I have accumulated so many papers, and things I can just let go of. All this accumulation is a cause for anxiety too. So I make my bed everyday now and get out of it. Slowly but surely I’m living in the present while decluttering and organizing.
I have to meditate or contemplate how I’ll move, but I know it’s going to happen with my conscious intentions and daily actions, how ever small to go forward and live around friends that actually care about my wellbeing.
I am blessed to have my friend in Arizona to encourage me to be near to her. I was very close to her youngest two daughters when I lived there and now they are young women. I can be a grandmother to those that don’t have a grandmother.
I’ll never ever stop missing my grandsons, however I no longer am trying to force myself as a family member into anyone’s life!
I continue to love myself and take good care of this body Temple in which my Creator resides. Yay!
Hugs
