Feeling Drained - Bipolar Day
Sometimes I wake up and don't want to get out of bed because I'm exhausted and not physically, but emotionally and just spiritually. Somewhere in the sea of chaos that is my day-to-day life I lost myself. I am not sure where the pieces are, but feel if I close my eyes for just five more minutes I will find them. Though staying in bed sounds great I cannot. This morning was one of those mornings.
I woke up and kept snoozing the alarm because I just didn't want to get up. No motivation, no drive, no real want to get up and go to work. It's not because I hate my job because I don't, as a matter of fact I love it. I just feel drained today. Maybe because I had Monday and Tuesday off for a 4 day weekend? Plus my husband is off all week, and I just want to stay home with him and enjoy the peace and quiet until the kids get home from school. The Doctor changed my medications in March which is fine and I just saw her 5/11 and told her I still get at times an overwhelming feeling of dread and just sheer panic like something is wrong. She seems to believe it is just stress at work so decided this time not to change my medications. I see her again in 2 months and of course sooner if something happens. While I don't dispute my current mental state is stress related, hopefully with the missing person from our team back at work things will get better. Being overworked 8-10 hours per day really sucks. She finally came back from her Maternity leave today so hopefully things will calm down. I really need to work on stress relieving techniques. Trying to quit smoking at the moment seems so hopeless.
I know I know. Chin up. It WILL get better.
