Feeling Cheated
Dear God, I am tired of sitting around doing nothing. Nobody ever gives the family administrator a pink slip to officiate the end of their employment, but I have been languishing in the "Empty Nest" for quite allot of years now. I am unspeakably tired of it and so hungry for full, productive days that I am ready to eat a timeclock just for a taste of validation.
Finally, I have a project which allows me to say, "I am going to work." as I leave the adults in the urban homestead to tend their own business and. . . Wham. . . Here I sit once more, nursing a sinus infection into its 3rd week. Gnarl, gnarl, gnash, gnash. . .
Small steps, big faith and lots of prayer.
The good news is that the hiatus seems to have bolstered the support of the project from the other adults in the family. I think. Grown-ups are so-o-o-o-o hard to read, much less predict.

Hugs. Sinus infections are a pain, but at least this hiatus of work is temporary. Once you recover you have work to come back to and one project can breed more projects and you may even find yourself with a steady stream of work before you know it, hiring assistants and growing your trade. This is a minor set back in a positive productivity train. I hope you recover soon so you can hop back to it. I will be wishing for your speedy recovery!
